How much does permanent makeup cost?
A straight answer on what permanent makeup costs, what you are actually paying for, and exactly what is included at High Brow Society, from brows and lip blush to lashes and removal.

The prices
What does permanent makeup cost in the UK?
Permanent makeup is a skilled, one-to-one procedure, so the price reflects the artist's training and experience as much as the treatment itself. Across the UK you will see brows priced anywhere from a couple of hundred pounds to well over five hundred, with lip and lash work in a similar range. The spread comes down to who is holding the machine: their training, their track record, and whether the price includes the all-important follow-up session.
Cheaper is rarely the bargain it looks. Permanent makeup sits on your face for years, and correcting or removing work that was done badly costs far more in the end than having it done well once.
Our prices
At High Brow Society every price is for a complete two-session treatment, not a teaser for the first visit only:
- Brows, in any style, whether ombré, powder, hairstrokes or combination, are £310.
- Lip blush is £285.
- Lash line enhancement is £225.
- Removal starts from £45.
Every treatment includes your aftercare cream and instructions, and your consultation is free, whether in person or over a video call. A consultation is not required before booking. It is simply there if you would like one.
Why there are two sessions
A new set of brows or lips is created over two appointments, not one. The first builds the shape and colour. The perfecting session that follows at four to eight weeks refines everything once your skin has healed and you can see how the pigment has settled. That second visit is included in the price, and it is the part that turns a good result into a great one. Anywhere quoting a lower headline figure will often charge for it separately.
The follow-up session is included, and it is where a good result becomes a great one.
What you are paying for
The price reflects far more than the hour in the chair. It covers Megan's training and years of experience, premium pigments and single-use tooling, and the time taken to map and design your shape carefully before any pigment goes in. It covers the safety and hygiene standards a procedure like this demands. And it covers longevity: machine work that heals cleanly and holds for years, rather than something you are back to fix within months.
Deposits and payment
A £50 deposit secures your appointment. It is non-refundable, and the balance is paid at your first session. If you need to move or cancel, please give at least 48 hours' notice.
If you would prefer to spread the cost, Klarna and Clearpay are available at booking. They are not interest-free, so it is worth checking the terms, but they make it easy to pay in instalments.
Is it worth it?
That is yours to decide, but it helps to think in time rather than a single payment. Brows last between one and three years, with lips and lashes similar, and across that span the cost works out at pennies a day for waking up with your features already done. For most clients the value is less about the money and more about the mornings they get back.
